Term 3 was certainly busy at OLD, our students continued to grow and develop in their learning as well as delight in many activities and celebrations throughout the term. Students participated in incursion and excursions, celebrations with 100 days of Kindergarten, Grandparents Day and Fathers Day, Book Week parades, parent engagement seminars, interschool connections with Mercy Catholic College, band performances, impressive displays of leadership and guidance from our Year 6 students and Faith gatherings. We also saw our students recognised for their representative sporting achievements, public speaking skills and artistic achievements. We were introduced to the Blessed Carlo Acutis, a relic of whom will be permanently placed in our Parish Church and who will be canonised as a Saint in 2025. And the term had an impressive finale with the wonderful production of High School Musical Jnr.
Congratulations to all our students on a wonderfully successful term 3 and to all our staff whose dedication to our students schooling journey is evident in all that takes place at OLD.
